• try running "CarnageContest -DirectX.bat" instead of "CarnageContest.exe"

• run windows update

• download and install your latest video card drivers and the latest directx version

• delete the file "sys/settings.cfg" and try again

and please choose the right forum next time. and choose an appropiate title. "help..." as title is pure nonsense because it doesn't describe your thread and your problem. the website clearly tells you that when you open a new thread.
